蒲台島每三年會舉行一次太平清礁，當中會有各種儀式和祭祀活動。此錄音記錄了當中的「過關」儀式，善信們會跟隨喃嘸師傅於「關口」前說出好意頭的說話，意味把衰氣辟掉，走過關口就是過了一關，總共要過五關，然後把過關紙燒掉儀式就完成。收錄於進行「過關」儀式的戲棚的中心，被大量的善信圍繞，亦可以聽到大會主持在講解儀式的情況。

Po Toi Islands holds the Da Jiu Festival once every three years, which includes various rituals and ceremonial activities. This recording captures the "Passing the Gate" ceremony, where devotees follow the Master (Taoist priest )and speak auspicious words at the "gate" to dispel negative energy. Passing through the gate symbolizes overcoming an obstacle. There are a total of five gates to pass, and the ceremony is completed by burning the paper representing the gates. The recording takes place at the center of the stage where the "Passing the Gate" ceremony is conducted, surrounded by a large number of devotees. You can also hear the host of the event explaining the ritual.

The pavilion is surrounded by residential buildings and trees. In the recording, you can hear a plethora of bird calls coming from different directions. Additionally, there is the sound of leaves being swept and cleaned. Despite being located in a bustling urban area, the impending demolition and the sparse population in Tai Hang West Village create a serene atmosphere.

青衣真君大帝演戲值理會於在青衣戲棚每年農曆三月十二至十七日舉辦真君誕，在青衣真君誕期間，居民會前往廟宇燃點香燭，獻上供品，並舉行祈福祭祀儀式。他們會表演傳統的舞獅和舞龍，以示慶祝和喜悅。此外，除了聘請劇團做神功戲外，場外亦有小食設檔，吸引不少市民到訪參與享受豐富多彩的文化娛樂。

The annual celebration of the Chung Kwan's Birthday is held at the Tsing Yi Bamboo Theatre in the island of Tsing Yi, Hong Kong. The event takes place from the 12th to the 17th day of the third lunar month each year.
During the Chung Kwan Festival celebration, residents visit temples to light incense, offer sacrifices, and participate in prayer ceremonies. Traditional lion and dragon dances are performed to express joy and celebration. In addition to hiring theater troupes to perform religious dramas, there are also food stalls set up outside the theater, attracting many locals and visitors to enjoy the rich and colorful cultural entertainment.

香港車公廟是香港一座重要的宗教建築，供奉著車伯行（車公）。在車公誕期間，信徒們會前來車公廟求籤，以獲得神明的指引和祝福。這個傳統的求籤活動使車公廟更加熱鬧，每年農曆三月初三的車公誕上，信徒們踴躍參與祭祀儀式，向車公祈求好運和順利，並期待籤文給予他們未來的指引。收錄於車公廟主殿內，當中移動到廟中不同的位置觀察。錄音可聽到連綿不斷的求籤聲，安全指示錄音，擊鼓求福的聲音，聲音在殿內產生一種獨有的空間感。

The Che Kung Temple in Hong Kong is an important religious structure that enshrines Che Kung, a deity worshipped by many. During the Che Kung Festival, devotees visit the temple to draw lots (Kau Chim), seeking guidance and blessings from the deity. This traditional practice of drawing lots adds liveliness to the temple. On the day of Che Kung Festival, which falls on the third day of the third lunar month each year, worshippers enthusiastically participate in the ritual ceremonies, praying for good luck and smoothness in their endeavors. They also look forward to the guidance provided by the lot's text. The recording was made inside the main hall of the temple, moving to different positions to observe. You can hear the continuous sound of lot drawing, safety announcement recordings, and the rhythmic beats of drums for blessings. The sounds create a unique sense of space within the temple hall.

錄音中可聽見不同的鳥類同蟬在附近的樹上傳出，相當熱鬧。因錄音位置在山上，飛機在上空飛過的低頻聲音特別響亮。偶爾亦會聽到工作車輛駛過相當接近的聲音。

Recorded at the Wildlife Pond at the foot of Kadoorie Farm, the ambient soundscape is enriched by the gentle flow of water, accompanied by the croaking of frogs residing in the pond. Occasionally, one can hear the diverse calls of nearby birds kept at the farm, as well as the sounds of airplanes passing overhead and the chatter of visitors touring the premises.
