Che Kung Temple - Center

The Hong Kong Che Kung Temple is an important religious landmark in Hong Kong, dedicated to Che Kung, the God of Chariots. The Che Kung Festival, celebrated on the third day of the third lunar month each year, attracts numerous devotees and visitors who participate in worship and cultural activities. On the day of the Che Kung Festival, the temple holds a grand ceremony where devotees offer fruits, fresh flowers, and incense to pray for safe and smooth transportation. The recording was made at the main incense-burning area, capturing the lively atmosphere of the festival. You can hear the bustling crowd, devotees seeking blessings from Che Kung through the guidance of temple staff, and the distant sounds of drumming from worshippers seeking blessings. It is a vibrant and festive occasion.
